When your child's in Year 9, (13/14 years old), professionals will work with you to think about and decide what help is needed to support their longer-term goals and ambitions, around: employment, health, community inclusion and independent living.



Children and Young People with an EHCP

In year 9 as part of your annual review there will be a focus on what you want to do when you leave school.

If you do not have an EHCP, but are receiving SEN support in school. Your school focused plan, should include targets around preparation for adulthood.
